Project SMILE
With this project, Meenal is trying to make kids happy along with getting rid of their boredom while everyone is stuck at home! She chose this topic because she understands how difficult it is to stay indoors all the time with little variety and fewer friends during pandemic. She has set up Zoom meetings to understand kids’ problems and take their suggestions, then engaged them in activities that enhanced their knowledge along with fun, and shared informative videos with them.

Laasya’s project aims at rejuvenation of water bodies and recharging ground water. The project’s target outcome is to raise awareness about water conservation and provide a directly usable way to conserve water.

Sahaara
Lockdown has severely impacted the lives of rural kids and the visually impaired. Sanjana is trying to support them by working with CRY as an intern to ensure 650 child labours get a chance to #learn and not earn by raising funds. She is also working as a volunteer in ‘lit by humanity’ to record audio textbooks for the visually impaired to help with their studies and exams.

Ms Archana is building on her previous extensive experience of training young women and girls to now train daughters of underprivileged families near her campus in Sonipat with skills like embroidery, stitching and applique, so that they have an opportunity for better livelihood and higher income.

Mr Himasagar wanted to create awareness of the negative impact that ‘labelling’ children can have on a child’s mental and emotional growth. He is educating people on how we think and learn, and the different kinds of intelligences human beings have so that caregivers understand and nurture growth of children rather than labelling them.

Hope In Pandemic
This project built systems to help people especially Elderly community who are in quarantine or going through difficult times emotionally, using professional psychology approaches. Various aspects are built in to ensure privacy, comfort and positive outcomes for people who engage.

This group project is for health promotion for school students during Covid-19 pandemic and beyond,
for emerging mental health concerns with specific focus on children, adolescents and youth, especially children with disabilities. They teach simple methods to manage anxiety and stress among children, and also provide resources for caregivers to engage with children positively and effectively.
